June Countdown!!!

The end is always really slow hahaha man these weeks have gone by really fast and at the same time really slow but oh well I have to enjoy them and dont leave any regrets about my mission. Your buying a house mom ???? wow things are changing fast.... my plans are to find alot of people and help my comp with the language and how to work with members. haha does Emma what to work??? Ok mom so dont get mad but I did take some money out but it was the last things that I wanted... I bought Emma some Argentine Toms and somthings for you and Tanner and Chase so ya I think I'm good for now just food in the airport. So everything is great

Graduation

hey mom how are you ? how is the family ? I'm good here in Zapata enjoying the cold weather and getting to see the mountains from really far away but at least I get  to see the snow before I leave Argentina. was there a lot of people there at the Idaho center. wow really Krispy cream uggg man I miss American food hahah of well I will be home soon. One the elders in the office asked me if I wanted to know what seat number I will have on the way home and I told him not yet..... ok and will the talk we will try getting someone to record it and truth be told I have no idea what I'm going to talk about but hopefully it comes out ok. well all is well here in zion enjoying everyminute of it love

Mothers Day

I really like the video reallly cute. so my last transfer has arrived and I was sent to a new area called Zapala , Neuquen, Argentina. Its a really small town where no one goes to visit or pass by..... there is alot of wind and dirt so ya its fun hahaha. My last comp in the mission is from Washington ( Everest ). he is from the country ( dairy farmer ) so hes very nice humble and hard working so ya I'm stoked to work with him and get to know him these last 4 weeks. This Sunday is stake conference and a 70 is going to come to change the stake president. There will be 40 elders and sister there so Saturday we will be working really hard to find space for all of them. other than that I'm golden mommy cya next monday luv you

Mother's Day 2015

Ok mommy

The thing most important......so Sunday I was thinking that we can try doing the Skype around 6:30pm my time. I have no idea what time that would be there but I will try getting on around 6:00pm to test out the computer connection. I will try Skyping in the church. Hopefully in the church the internet will be a little better. So we are going to try first with Facebook and then Skype so far if you have questions I will have time Wednesday to answer your email.  The trip is for Zion’s camp the stake president asked if I would be willing to go up with them and share some thoughts and help the young men get ready to leave. I think it’s in July so I have some time but I’m not really sure what week. And ya I’m excited to go to BYU I. Well I see you on Sunday

Almost May

Hey mommy

Hey before I forget I was wondering if you could find out what size of shoe is Emma... I was thinking of buying the argentine toms that they sell here.... they are really cheap and they can say  that they have the original toms from Argentina.... they are a little bit different here so if you think that they would like that I will try and find their sizes. So this week was really fast and really exciting.... guess what happened mom..... a volcano blew up in Chile!!!!!  So the volcano was about 100 km from a city called Barliloce (something like that haha) and with the wind it blew all of the ash to Argentina.... They say that it went dark in the middle of the day in the mountains and the about 3 inches of ash has fallen in the mountains! So ya I’m here in the high valley and we had some ash fall but nothing like the ash in the mountains. So we were told that we can go out for two days and if we had to go out we had to have masks and safely glasses on. Some elders have some fotos of me with my glasses and mask that I will try sending you. so with collage I’m super stoked and really and ya will have to see when I get home... .but pres says it’s the worst  thing an ex missionary can go is not do anything.... I have to be working or studying or Satan with try getting me to fall.... well all is well

Missionary work!

Wow that's crazy!!!! My baby sis is almost legal to drive and scare the world with her driving abilities. Wow it always blows my mind how fast time passes by and how quick everyone changes and grows up soooo fast!!! wow Lily is really big now and I never got to meet her before she was born. wow Mexico !!!! that's really awesome I think was called to some part of China or Japan in my mini mission. truth be told I thought it was going to be a lot harder to give up tv than what it was...... I missed tv a lot in the MTC but in the field I didn't and haven't struggled too much. Something's I do miss are hot water and a good bed so ya I'm missing the simple things more than anything. how did chase get to north Dakota i didn't think my car would make the long drive there..... wow she is really nice and well mannered Mormon girl...... ya I need to help Michael lot after the mission to help him get back into the church and maybe to go on a mission. wow Stef is home !!!!! that's crazy haha now I can write her and see how was Mexico... because in Mexico they cant write elders at all.... wow things are really changing in the great city of Nampa Idaho...... sad too say there isn't much change here in cultural co..... so in this transfer I only have 4 weeks left and than in my last transfer its only 4 weeks ..... so ya time is passing really fast.

wow that's super crazy about Ryan !!! that's awesome that he has had this change in his life that he wants to at least try fallowing Jesus Christ. man truth be told I didn't get along with him to well before the mission I hope now that he is a member we can get along a little bit better. I have been thinking a lot and I think I'm going to take the elders over to Blakes house and maybe mikes to see if they are willing to listen to us. also I have a lot of friends from Skyview that need the gospel so I'm going to work really hard after the mission. I guess jess is really sick or was hit by a car ..... ya once I find out I will let you know ...... dang I'm going to miss my little girl a lot if she dies..... but I can only worry about the things that I can control. well the weather is changing and its really nice right now so makes things a lot easier. so we are getting ready for the temple dedication !!!! one more temple here in Argentina. the family that got baptized as of little are really struggling with heath and coming to church. Satan or the devil is really working hard on them so ya we have to help them a lot over come these problems. well I don't have anything else to write so I will cya later love

Happy Easter! Happy General Conference!

hey mommy happy Easter !!!

Wow this week pasted really fast and guess what I stayed in my area with my trainee elder Salgado. so ya one more transfer ( 6 weeks ) here and than 4 weeks in my last area !!! What only ten weeks to go !!!!!! I cant believe it at all I'm almost there now its just time to finish strong and work hard. So hey mom I took some money out to buy something I'm going to buy a native bag for Emma a leather wallet or belt for Tanner and Chase and something for dad and you. So ya that's why I took some money out  this week. you should try looking up my city in Google maps ( Cutural Co, Neuquén Argentina ) its really small and not much to do the p days. oh well we can always play football or dodge ball or watch a movie from the church in the chapel. So ya all is well, the weather is changing and it rained this week so it was nice to be inside watching the general conference. So ya it was really, really hard this year watching the conference in English the connection was really bad so it was freezing all the time. oh well I can study the conference every day if I want to.... some of the things that called my attention was (refs about Captain Moroni, marriage, ex missionaries, sayings from other churches the pope, mother Teresa, hmmmm and temples) I missed some talks because I had to take elders to the bus station and make sure  they got on fine so ya I will have to study a lot this week.  well I'm going to try and finish my things for BYU !! love you mommy

haha what's spring break???

 

I don't remember what that is ??? naw man I really miss spring break a lot and hey mom you have to try recording the graduation because I would love to watch it after the mission., I might not watch all of it but I will watch some of it to remind myself of my graduation. Wow mom the nest is going to be empty is 3 three years what are you going to do??  mom tell chase that he has to go or he will regret that for the rest of his life.... I wasn't going to go but I changed my mind and now I'm super happy that I did. I made some great memories with the gang dances like goof balls and eating a lot of food and bowling the night away..... well not really I got home around 1130 or 1200 haha ya I love my sleep. ya with fasfa I will send dad my account and he can help me finish that. ya I will have  to start in the winter its fine with me. Work hard earn some money and leave. so I was thinking how is Carrington Collage ? I heard being a surgical tech is fun ?!? and its cheap and I'm going to take my personal training test and try working in a gym or in a store like tanners. the Lerma family is good this week the baby Milagros was sick so they didn't come to church but we are going to start working with the dad ( Jorge ) so he can get the priesthood and hopefully before I go I can give him the priesthood!!! So ya that will bless his life forever. so ya this is my last week or maybe my last week here in Cutural co this Saturday is transfers so most likely I will leave to my last area in the mission...... super crazy right ?? so ya I'm all good

Spring Break 2015

Heyyy mommy how are you ??

 

I'm great writting alittle about one of the best and fastest weeks in my mission.. So this was the big week..... the wedding of the lerma family and the baptizm of the best family i know in my mission !!! So the whole week we were running around makind sure all of the members and family members we invited to the wedding and baptizm. When Friday rolled around i was  ready to get it all over with and be calm again. So Friday we woke up and got ready really quick so  we could go look for the shoes that elder Nobmann left for Jorge and than we went dropped those off and than we went back to the apartement and change and went to the office building were they do the legal weddings. the family showed up alittle late because they had to change all of the kids and wait for a taxie but overall the meeting was really pretty and there was alot of members there. so the baptizm was really nice too.... alittle crazy but nice. so yet again the family was late to show up because of taxies and the members didnt offer to help till after it was too late....... so we started changing and than some one told me that the little boy of the family wanted to go pee and saw the pool of bautizmal faunt and tried going pee but with the glass it just rebounded and got his pants all wet.....  so ya Cindy had to go and buy a new pare of pants so he wouldnt have to be in his pants with pee... so ya after all of the crazieness we started the baptizm and it was all great. I baptized Cindy and my comp baptized Axel the son and man the water was sooo cold!! overall great week well all is well

Middle of March

Hey Mommy
 

ya I'm writing today because Monday I had interviews with president so ya we moved our day till today so ya that why I'm writing today. All is well here in Zion.!!!! today I finished all that I need to do with the weeding so ya now I'm really happy and now I just have to wait till Friday and than Saturday for the baptism!!!!! So that blows my mind is the difference I have seen with this family!!! there was times when they would go to the dump and look for clothes to wash and than resell in the flee market Saturday....... really really sad but now they are happy with what they have and the lord is really helping them with work and finding what they need. So ya overall they are my favorites !!! they told me that if they have another kid they will call him Logan (Tyler is too strange) and than his other names will be a little more normal but they told me that thanks to me and elder Stoddard they are more happy than any other moment in their lives so ya I feel truly blessed to be part of their lives. so ya all is going great. hey so I didn't get the paper or the collage doesn't recognize that I got them.... ya I have no idea what to doo......

 

well I hope all is well  and in three months I will be home to help with the move so I will keep the family in my prayers .

March 1st

Wow I never knew that elder Perry lived in Idaho...... hey I was studying the book about president Benson and I says he was a stake president in Boise Idaho too! Also president Benson is from Whitney Idaho too I never knew that Idaho had such cool residents. So my new comp is called elder Salgado he is from Corbada Argentina!  So ya he is my first Argentine comp so ya I'm really happy that I have someone that can help me with my Spanish and help me get a good accent and that understands how the people think here. or well that's what I thought it was going to be like.... So every day here is one day less of summer here ya!!!!! so things are going well and I'm really happy to be training and helping this new elder learn about the mission and about Neuquén Argentina. so how are things with Emma?? so ya I ran out of time I'm sorry mommy so ya I love you guys and miss you all.

Today was a special Sunday. L.Tom Perry came to Meridian to attend a Stake Conference...and they decided to video-stream it to over 100 buildings throughout the valley.  It was wonderful! His family grew up in various parts of Idaho, he even lived in Boise for a time.  When it was his turn to speak, he popped up out of his chair and walked quickly to the podium!  I always thought that he was a shorter man....but he was quite tall.  He is in his 90s!!!  Incredible! He did just recover from breaking 6 ribs though.  He shared the story of watching a football game on New Year's day....but when he got up to get some candy, he heard a play on the TV that he wanted to see the replay, but tripped over the stool, hit a coffee table....and broke 6 ribs!  The doctor's advice was "don't fall down any more" :0)  There were two speakers before:  Brother Nielson (of the Seventy).  He is originally from Burley :0)  He told great stories, analogies to life.  He spoke of "becoming".  That was his first assignment as a Seventy...."to become".  What are the things in your life that need to change to ..."to become"?  That leads to deep thoughts...because it isn't just the things you need to change to become closer to our Savior, but it is life....what do you need to change to become what you want to be, to have, to experience out of life.  If you place the focus of change on the things that are more spiritual...the temporal blessings will come as well.

Life is moving so fast! Look for something new each day to see, try, eat, experience! Smile and serve all those around you

That hair cut is really, really popular here in Argentina! its funny for being a second world country the people are really into style and looking good. its sad that they don't care about their country or how other countries look at their way of life but if they are styling they are happy.

 

So this is  the last week of  this transfer and after this transfer I will only have 3 transfers left !!!!!! nawww I'm  really loving the mission I have really changed and hopefully I cant keep this change going for a long time. so we are still trying to find people to teach........ it seems like I'm always looking and trying to find investigators but time teaching is a little bit harder. so I'm trying to do my BYU application online and I need my social security number if you or dad have it can you please send me it so I can get going on that. I'm thinking of applying to BYU Idaho, Provo and maybe Utah State.  so ya I have to get going so I can get home and start studying. so are things with the gang? Is Chase ready to end school ? so ya I'm still trying  to figure out what I'm going to study but I still have  time to worry about my major so I will worry about that after the mission. and with my feet ya its super cool right?  but ya I took off all of the skin that I could and now its look fine and not like a leper.

 

So the weather here is still really hot but every day that passes is one more day closer to winter here so ya I'm staying positive and moving forward. so how are things with chels ?? How did grandma take the news hearing about the baby and all of this ? So my family are progressing and moving forward so hopefully we can get them baptized next transfer. I really want to have  their wedding here in the church but its more expensive and they don't have the money but if every member donates a little money we are going to have the wedding here in the church.

McCall Winter Carnival 2015

ugggg I miss snow !!!!! man I really want to get into snowboarding or skiing when I get home !!! I cant pay for snowmobiling and by BYE Idaho there are some really good places to go snowboarding. so is tanner living up there in the mountains? or the special Olympics? oh man I heard there is a new star wars coming out this coming year !!! is it true??? man mom you would love this café sever they are super fans 80s music right I'm I hearing this song that says ( you can dance..... you can dance ) so is Taylor married ? I thought I heard that he got married??? man everyone is getting home i only have like four months left CRAZY so the 21 of Feb. we are going to have a baptize!!! its a family of 7 but only 4 can get baptized right now because the rest are too young so the family is called the family Lerma ( interesting last name) dad Jorge mom Cindy , Marcia 10 anos , axle ya that's his name ha-ha 9 sioma , some other little kid and Milagros the beby. so ya I'm a really happy to help this family grow and progress in the gospel. Saturday we had dinner with them , it was really nice they are really poor but they did all they could to give us a good meal...... a really humbling moment for me....... I'm really happy to be on the lords time!!!!

Happy Martin Luther King Day!

ya I got transferred to a little tiny city called Cutural co Neuquen, Argentina. the best thing is its a big oil city so its really nice and roads and alot of cool stores ( maybe the stores isnt a super great thing hahaha) but I'm really loving my comps and my area its super fun here!!! We have really great investigators and hopefully we can help them make this part of their life's. Well my apartement is super small but everything is super expensive here 3500 pesos por mes to rent my apartment !!!! I sleep in the kitchen on the floor but oh well I'm used to crapy living conditions now hahha. ya I got the summer flew but I'm good. Well all is well hope all is well there

BOISE STATE!!! Go Broncos

ya sorry mom about last week..... so the severs (internet cafes) here close at one or earlier so I let my comps write first since they are new in the mission and than I write. But lately I haven't been able to write much just to president and than we have to go.... so ya I will try and be better. Thing is I know I will see you guys in 6 months and I don't feel home sick I just want to dedicate myself to the work. but that's not being fair to you guys I have to write at least a little every week... I feel like on The Other Side of the Heaven movie lost in my world here. I'm super happy I love the mission and my time here. This week is transfers so I might go or I might stay  I'm not really sure, I want to go to the south were the weather is nicer but the people here are really nice but not super willing to help us in the work. So ya I'm really trying to change things around here in Centenario Neuquén Argentina.

Wow BSU won against the wild cats that's crazy but not super crazy they are really good and always a wild card to play against. so ya for my studies am still not sure........ teacher no I don't want a crapy paycheck and have to deal with kids like me for my whole life hahaha . so I was thinking about studying business and having Spanish as a minor or go for communication in something. I think it would be fun to work with a company that is international and learn some more languages like Italian, Portuguese. Truth be told I'm praying to get me answer and hopefully the lord answers me soon so I can start that part of my life. So I have been thinking I would really like to go to BYU Idaho. Its super cheap and all ex missioners get in so ya I will start there and work my way up to BYU Provo. If you could get Tanner or you to look into BYU that would be awesome!!!  haha that's super funny I don't remember what that's like to feel 30s any more. Well all is good here tell everyone that I say hi and that I love them....

It's beginning to be Christmas!!

Ok so a lot of things have changed this week!!!! so i'm training and now have another comp that is really new in the mission so ya I have double the responsibility there and now I'm district leader so now I'm in charge of 11 elders and sisters!!!!! So ya hahah things changed super quick and now come the stress. but oh well I love the stress and having to get everything done. so I was thinking of doing Skype on Christmas day or the day after let me know what time with be best.
